Just prior to 1300 hrs on January 4th, Task Force 7 was dispatched to the 200 Block of Edgewater Avenue for the reported Dwelling Fire. County communications quickly notified Chief 701 that they had received several calls reporting the house on fire and the assignment was upgraded to the working fire dispatch. Chief 701 arrived confirming the reports. Engine Co 733 arrived and operated a single 1-3/4” water line, Quint 51 (Gloucester City) arrived and assisted with searches and overhaul. Engine Co. 812 (National Park) arrived and secured a water supply for Engine Co. 733 and assisted on the fire ground. Additional companies also assisted with various fire ground tasks. Additional companies on the fire ground were from Bellmawr Sta. 32, Colonial Manor Sta. 63, Verga Sta. 62, Deptford EMS 9-9 and the GC Fire Marshal’s Office.
